I’ve been having to make decisions about certain friendships lately. It’s been very difficult and my cousin told me something when we were talking about it that I’d like to share with y’all.
If there is a dark well, and a firefly enters and goes to the bottom, the light will disappear. The darkness engulfs the light and takes it away. But if you sent a million fireflies down into the well, the light would take over the dark and you could see again. That’s how our friendships are. If you have a bunch of bad influence friends your light may be swallowed up by their darkness. But if you choose friends that are good for your faith, encouraging, and Christian and God-centered friends, then your light will shine brighter.
That is so sweet. I needed that!
